Dr Rakhee Subramanian

Dr Rakhee Subramanian is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, specialising in Geriatrics and Adult General Medicine with a special interest in Peri-operative management and Cardio-geriatrics.

She graduated with Honours from Monash University in 2017 and subsequently completed her physician’s training across multiple Victorian health networks including Austin, Eastern, Monash and Northern Health.

She has a passion for the holistic care of older adults and servicing the community. She is skilled in the diagnosis and management of cognitive impairment/dementia, heart failure in the elderly, falls and incontinence. She offers comprehensive geriatric assessment, complex chronic disease management, peri-operative evaluation, medication review, and advanced care planning.

She is also dedicated to medical education, having served as Chief Registrar in Geriatrics at Monash Health during her Advanced Training.

Outside work, Rakhee enjoys travelling and trying new food, playing tennis and spending time with her family.
