Practice Fees

At ACS we operate a no-gap policy for private hospital admission

  • MEDICARE
    All of our ACS cardiologists and physicians do not charge a gap for any in-hospital consultations or procedures. You may, however, be required to pay an excess in relation to your private health insurance policy and we suggest you discuss this with your health insurance provider. Fees may be charged for any procedures that do not attract a Medicare rebate or from other doctors that treat you within the hospital.
  • DISCOUNTED
    Outpatient consultations are not bulk-billed, but there is a discounted fee for pensioners and health-care cardholders.
  • PAYMENT METHODS
    Payment is requested on the day of your appointment and can be made either by credit card, EFTPOS or cash.

Bulk billed testing is performed at our locations

BULK BILLED SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Echocardiogram
  • Stress Echocardiogram
  • Exercise Stress Testing
  • Holter monitor
  • ECG
  • Cardiac CT (with specialist referral)

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE NOT BULK BILLED AS THEY DO NOT HAVE A MEDICARE REBATE:

  • Blood pressure monitor
  • Cardiac MRI
