Dr Luke Cieslik
Luke is a general cardiologist with particular clinical interests in preventative cardiology, coronary artery disease, and coronary intervention. He is accomplished in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of all cardiac conditions.
Luke is known for his warm demeanour and empathetic approach to patient care. He takes pride in his ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients using clear, understandable language.
Born and raised in Wolverhampton, UK, Luke qualified in medicine at the University of Manchester, England. He relocated to Australia in 2017, and completed his Physician Training at the Alfred Hospital, followed by cardiology training at University Hospital Geelong, Monash Health and Frankston Hospital. Luke will soon be completing clinical fellowships in interventional cardiology at the Victorian Heart Hospital in Australia, followed by the Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Beyond his clinical practice, Luke has a passion for mentoring and educating future medical professionals. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Education with the University of Edinburgh, reflecting his commitment to the next generation of doctors.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys good food, travelling, gardening, cycling and spending quality time with his wife and young son. He is an avid football (soccer) fan, proudly supporting his hometown team, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.
