Dr Jack Krafchek
Dr Jack Krafchek trained in cardiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and completed his Post-graduate training in pacing and electrophysiology whilst in the U.S. 1983 to 1986, at Duke University and then in Houston, Texas. He joined the cardiology department at Monash Medical Centre in 1987, when the hospital first opened.
Jack has been a senior member of the MonashHeart team for 30 years and has helped train numerous young cardiologists in the insertion and management of pacemakers and defibrillators. He continues to practise general cardiology at Dandenong Medical Specialists with a special interest in arrhythmias and device management.
