Cardiovascular Disease diagnosis and management is built on the foundations of research excellence. Our team continues to be involved in high-level scientific research with ongoing national and international research collaborations.

We supervise several PhD, honour and masters students, run large scale clinical trials, trial new technologies in the treatment of cardiovascular disease and are regularly invited to present at national and international meetings.

Together the team has more than 250 peer-reviewed publications, that includes journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet, Journal of the American College of Cardiology and Circulation.

Additionally we have been awarded more than $1,000,000 of competitive research grant funding and received awards for scientific excellence as early career investigators.
